Akind On Cloud Nine Lightweight Moisturiser Review

Price: INR 945 (always on discount)

Akind On Cloud Nine Lightweight Moisturiser (50 g)

Let's be honest here, but this is one of those products that Internet made me buy. It was a new brand launch, by Ms Misha... no wait Ms. Mira Kapoor, and available only on Tira. My combo skin in this weather is all confused... dry, oily, combo, who knows?

🌼Claims

Cloud-like lightweight moisturiser, super quick to absorb, with peptides, ceramides, niacinamide and what not.

🧪 Ingredients

Purified Water, Heptyl Undecylenate (Lexfeel), Isononyl Isononanoate, Peptide Complex, Sodium Acrylates Copolymer, Caprylic Capric Triglyceride, Sodium Hyaluronate, Niacinamide, Copper Tripeptide, Ceramide Complex, Phenoxyethanol, Lecithin, Panthenol, Tocopheryl Acetate, Ethylhexylglycerin, Alpha-Glucan Oligosaccharide, Squalane & Disodium Dihydrogen, Ethylenediamine Tetraacetate.

I am not sure what they mean by complex here; it's pretty vague in my humble opinion. Also, the product is marketed as a probiotic moisturiser, but I wasn't able to find the same in the list. Google says that Alpha-Glucan Oligosaccharide is a prebiotic that "protects and stimulates the beneficial microbial skin flora". You can read more about it here.

🧡 It also has Copper tripeptide, a peptide known for its anti-aging, wound healing and excellent antioxidant properties.

🧡 Fragrance-free, alcohol-free, vegan, cruelty-free, and pregnancy-safe

Moving forward :P

💧 Texture & Feel

Well, the texture is definitely light but sits heavy on skin. It spreads easily and gets absorbed quickly with a burst of hydration; it feels so much like a water cream and reminds of the Beauty of Joseon Dynasty Cream. But in this weather of rains and humidity, I don't like the way it leaves a tacky finish. But, again, in winters, it'll be too light for me and that's what I don't like about water creams! Too heavy, too light - the constant ordeal of Combination skin.

If you have oily skin and live in a humid place, tropicals, this might not be the product for you. Dry skin people will love this in summers.

Pros

  • Lightweight & fast‑absorbing – ideal for dry weather, dry skin, good for transitioning months
  • Multi-skin benefits – supports barrier, brightening, anti-aging
  • Clean, minimal formula – no harsh actives, fragrance, or oil

⚠️ Cons

  • Too heavy for oily skin in summers; leaves a tacky finish.

  • A little pricey; if you get this on discount, buy a trial size first; not worth full price

  • Availability is region-dependent, either TIRA stores or online

💬Bottom line:

Lightweight, clean, and effective—a good pick for a daily moisturiser, especially if you have dry skin. Avoid if you have oily skin.

Until next time, keep glowing
