Goodal Vegan Rice Milk Moisturizing Toner and Vegan Rice Milk Moisturizing Cream Review

Hey guys,

Go to know about a new range from Goodal this year; I mean, it was new to me at least!

Price: I paid around INR 1500 (for both); price usually varies, depending on the place you buy it from

If your skin lives for anything hydrating, gentle, and K-beauty-approved, you’ve probably had your eye on Goodal’s Vegan Rice Milk line.

Both the toner and cream come in minimal, soft-toned packaging that screams clean girl aesthetic. The whole line is centered around Jeju rice milk—which sounds almost good enough to eat—and promises soothing hydration for sensitive skin.

Goodal claims this range is vegan, cruelty-free, fragrance-free, and ideal for those with dry, irritated, or sensitized skin. My skin is combo with the occasional sensitivity, so I was curious to see how it would hold up in these harsh North India winters.

Goodal Vegan Rice Milk Toner: Lightweight But Not Wimpy

Texture: Smooooth, fluid, and oh-so-soothing. It has that comforting “my skin is drinking this up” feel without being watery. Think somewhere between an essence and a toner. It has some body to it without feeling heavy.

Application: I use 2–3 layers (hello, Korean 7-skin method lovers!), and it never pills or feels heavy. It sinks in beautifully, leaving my face feeling calm and plump.

Performance: The toner is surprisingly effective at reducing redness. I noticed that post-exfoliation sting was totally muted when I used this as a prep step. It doesn’t clog pores or cause breakouts, either.

✅ Great for layering
✅ Calms irritation
✅ Feels luxe on the skin

Goodal Vegan Rice Milk Cream: Barrier Love in a Tube

Texture: Rich but not greasy. It has a cushiony, almost whipped feel. If you're into moisturizers that feel like a soft hug without suffocating your pores, this is it.

Application: I use it as a nighttime sealant and sometimes under SPF during the day when my skin feels dry or tired. It spreads easily and locks everything in. But I have to admit that it doesn't get fully absorbed on my skin; it almost forms a protective film on my face, which I can so clearly feel when washing my face and that film is dissolving!

Performance: This cream helped me bounce back from an over-exfoliation moment (we've all been there, right?). My skin barrier was visibly calmer in two days. No breakouts, no itchiness, just soft, glowy skin.

✅ Barrier-repair peak! Superdry skin people would love this
✅ Sensitive-skin safe
✅ Layers beautifully with other actives

What I really appreciate is how this line avoids essential oils, alcohols, or heavy silicones. It's gentle enough for people dealing with rosacea, compromised barriers, or just super fussy skin.

Bonus: the formula uses eco-friendly rice farming from Jeju Island, which is such a nice sustainability touch for fellow conscious consumers.

👎 The “Meh” Bits

No product is perfect, so here’s what didn’t totally wow me:

  • If you’re oily-skinned, the cream might feel a bit much in the summer.

  • Fragrance-free fans, rejoice—but if you love a luxurious scent experience, you won’t get that here.

  • Occlusive texture can feel like an opaque film on your face.

  • Availability/price can be hit-or-miss depending on where you live (some international shipping costs hurt).

💬 Final Verdict: Worth It?

Absolutely. If you are a dry-skin beauty and looking for a gentle, calming duo to build or reset your skin routine, the Goodal Vegan Rice Milk Toner and Cream deliver big hydration with zero drama. Also, this range is pretty affordable in my opinion considering the quantity you get (250 ml toner and 70 ml cream).

I’m keeping both in rotation—especially on skin-stressed days when I want something that just gets me. Think of this duo as your go-to comfort food, but for your face.

If you have to pick just one, I would say, go with the toner. You will get so much use out of it irrespective of the skin type and season.

Tried them yet? Drop your thoughts in the comments—I’d love to know how they worked for you!

Until next time, keep glowing ✨
